Over 25% of adults over the age of 65 report falling in the last year.  There are many contributing factors to falls, however, physical activity has been proven to impede age related muscle loss and improve bone composition to reduce injury and potential hospitalization after a fall. 

Biography: Matt has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since December 2021 and is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to attending physical therapy school, Matt attended Louisiana State University and received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and was also a member of the swim team from 2011-2015. Upon returning to Pittsburgh after graduation, Matt was the head coach of a local swim team where he coached numerous Division I and national caliber athletes. After graduating from physical therapy school, Matt has had the pleasure of working with patients of various ages and diagnoses and has experience working with youth, collegiate and professional athletes. He enjoys being active, traveling and spending time with his two dogs.
