Arthritis is a chronic condition that not only effects your physical health, but your mental health as well with associated decline in function when surgical intervention is not currently an option. Physical therapy has shown favorable outcomes utilizing a team approach with other healthcare providers to reduce pain, restore range of motion and strength, and re-establish independence.
Matt has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since December 2021 and is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh.
Amy has 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist, with the last six at NovaCare Rehabilitation. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, hospital and pediatrics. She is passionate about helping people regain function and independence. She loves gaining new skills and is planning to become kinesio tape certified. Amy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and arm after an injury, surgery or stroke. She enjoys going on hikes and spending time with her children.
