 Mark Macedonia Bio:

Shadows in the Dragon’s Lair is Mark Macedonia’s fifth novel. The early twentieth century espionage adventure is the second book in a trilogy featuring the characters Frank Nash and Peggy Harrelson. Nash’s and Harrelson’s exploits as spies first appeared on the pages of Silhouettes of the Dark—the first book of the trilogy that was published in December 2025.

Macedonia published his first novel, The Soles of Cyrus Eblis in February 2019, and has followed it with Beneath A Crescent Moon in March 2023, and Beware The Shifting Sands in March 2024.  All the novels fall in the genre of historical fiction blended with mystery and adventure.

A native of Western Pennsylvania, Macedonia is a former high school Social Studies teacher, who taught AP World History and United States History in the Seneca Valley School District. Currently, when not writing novels he is teaching history to adults 55-years and older enrolled in the Lifelong Learners program at LaRoche University.

Macedonia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He resides north of Pittsburgh with his wife Sandy, and their English retriever Kimba.
