Many times, the perspective of what makes a PI comes from drama-based television shows.

Would you like to know what it is really like to be a PI?

Come to the Bethel Park Public Library on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.

 

Christine M. Soltis will be there to help educate on what it is actually like to be a private investigator. Please see her shortened bio below:

Christine M. Soltis is mainly a Private Investigator, Author and Jewelry Designer. She is the owner of SolsticeNightSky Productions and SolsticeNightSky Designs in Pittsburgh, PA.

In 2013, Christine began her career in the investigations industry through the realm of insurance fraud investigations.

Christine performs investigations in the tristate areas of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio, with duties that include extensive travel throughout all three states. The investigator position encompasses numerous Special Investigations Unit (SIU) duties, including, but not limited to:

Locating individuals, and witnesses; seeking video footage of incidents through a neighborhood canvass; obtaining recorded statements, examining accident, theft, fire, and vandalism scenes, obtaining measurements and photographs, contacting police and fire departments to obtain information, and plenty more. 

The types of cases always vary, and can include motor vehicle accidents, fatality investigations, theft investigations, fire investigations, vandalism investigations, court appointments and so much more. No case is ever the same!
