How do people and things get from one place to another? Learn about the many types of transportation, and then rotate through the different stations in our vehicle-friendly community. For 2- 4-year-olds with a caregiver.

This group will watch thought provoking documentaries, independent and foreign films with reflective discussion of the themes and issues they raise.

Toddle on over for a terrific Tuesday. Stories, songs, rhymes, and more comprise this thirty-minute early literacy class. An activity will follow each class and relate to the theme of the day.

The second Wednesday of every month we will be hosting a Memory Café in the fireplace room from 10:30-12pm.  Originally started in England, this informal setting provides the caregiver a forum for discussion, reducing the isolation often felt

Fun, friendly games every week.

Bring your creative minds and come build with the Library's Legos. Your creations will stay on display for a week and then be disassembled for the next class.

For grades K-4. Register beginning December 15th.

Hang out, meet other teens, enjoy a snack, and have some fun after school in the Teen Lounge on Thursdays. Drop in anytime between 3-5p.m. Activities will vary from week or week but will include crafts, card and board games, puzzles, and more.

Share your ideas and talents with us! The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teen volunteers who aim to help the Library and community, take an active role in implementing programs and services, and earn volunteer credit while doing it!

Local wildlife survives our cold, snowy winters by moving away, sleeping in, or toughing it out. Discover the amazing adaptations that allow animals to survive through the winter. This program is presented by Allegheny County Parks rangers.

This club is for everyone who has ever wondered, "Is the book better than the movie?" Over seven weeks, we'll read aloud a part of the chosen book. On the eighth week, we'll watch the movie together.
